Mealtimes

Appletree has a kitchen, and a cook who provides home cooked meals for the children every day. They are both up to date with all aspects of a child’s diet, and will cater for all
dietary requirements. All our food is locally sourced.

Breakfast – choice of cereal, porridge and fruit, milk or water.

Mid-morning – choice of toast with butter, butter and jam, fruit, milk or water.

Lunch - is served around midday. This could be any of a variety of dishes but will always be balanced and nutritious. Children with allergies and any dietary requirements are also
carefully catered for. Children use cutlery and utensils appropriate to their age and ability and good table manners are encouraged.

Afternoon – this varies from biscuit, fruit, breadsticks and vegetables, juice or water

Tea - is snack based and can be homemade scones or sandwiches.
